You swipe right to like a profile and left to pass. When both users like each other, it's a match and you can start messaging.

Yes, FishBud offers a free tier that includes 15 likes per day, basic profile features, matching with local anglers, messaging with matches, viewing fishing spots, and basic filters. Premium plans start at $2.99/week or $8.99/month with 50 likes per day, advanced filters, and the ability to see who liked you. Gold tier at $5.99/week or $13.99/month includes unlimited likes and direct messaging without matching.

FishBud is currently available exclusively on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) through the Apple App Store. The app requires iOS 14.0 or later. An Android version is planned for future release based on user demand.

FishBud prioritizes user safety through several measures: optional profile verification, user reporting and blocking features, community guidelines enforcement, privacy controls (your exact location is never shown, only approximate distance), and safety tips for meeting in person. Yes, FishBud includes a fishing spots feature where users can discover and share local fishing locations. You can view spots shared by the community, see photos and tips, and save your favorite locations. You can delete your FishBud account directly from the app: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, then follow the confirmation steps.
